You can monitor the battery status and performance by installing a GPRS/GSM enabled RTU with the battery bank. It will give you updated about the battery terminal voltage, load current & temperature rise. In case there is a drop in battery voltage from a critical level you get a notification in the form of an SMS. This way you can keep a track on the performance of battery and hence the system being run on the battery. The data like voltage, current, temperature  from battery can be fetched through 4-20mA signals or RS485 modbus protocol. This data is then scanned and performance report generated. You can generate daily report in MS Excel. Location of the battery can also be checked on Google map. 08082021      .
